The First Quarter: Diagnosis to Deployment

Structured Approach to Immediate Impact

STRATEGIC CONTEXT: This is my personal playbook for entering a new role. Regardless of the industry—whether Healthcare, Logistics, or Finance—my first 90 days follow this rigorous structure: Diagnosis (Listen), Construction (Build), and Acceleration (Lead). It ensures I deliver measurable GTM impact in my first quarter.
90-Day Acceleration Framework
The "Player-Coach" Methodology: My playbook for entering a new organization: Listen first, identify the quick wins, and build the long-term engine without breaking momentum. Entering a new organization requires balancing strategic diagnosis with immediate execution. My framework is designed to stop "random acts of marketing" and build a scalable GTM engine while securing early wins for the sales team.
Diagnosis & Foundation Days 1–30

Strategic Intent: "Listen, Then Lead"

Most PMMs fail by shipping tactics before understanding the problem. My focus here is to audit the gap between what we think we sell and what the market actually buys.
Key Actions:
  • Audit Positioning: Assess current messaging against competitor realities and customer feedback.
  • Stakeholder Map: Interview Sales, CS, and Product to identify friction points.
  • Unified Architecture: Establish the "Single Source of Truth" message framework.
Enablement & Construction Days 31–60

Strategic Intent: "Build Credibility with Sales"

Sales teams don't need theory; they need ammo. I prioritize "Early Wins"—assets that solve immediate pipeline blockers—to build trust and accelerate deals in flight.
Key Actions:
  • Sales Enablement Overhaul: Update pitch decks and objection scripts to focus on outcomes.
  • Competitive Differentiation: Clarify exactly how we win against the status quo.
  • Ship Early Wins: Deploy high-impact collateral (One-Pagers, ROI Calculators).
Growth & Leadership Days 61–90

Strategic Intent: "Scale the Engine"

Shift from "fixing" to "leading." Once the foundation is set, we operationalize the thought leadership engine to generate demand rather than just capturing it.
Key Actions:
  • Launch The Engine: Operationalize webinars, research briefs, and market benchmarks.
  • Measurement & ROI: Implement the Impact Narrative framework to prove value.
  • GTM Rhythm: Establish a predictable cadence for product launches.
